As a homage to Dutch creativity, the limited edition of this armchair can be covered with a custom-made “dress” made from a BoxBlocks fabric of your choice. The model is numbered, to guarantee Cassina authenticity.

The armchair consists of a molded seat shell made from reinforced fiberglass with a foam layer. The ottoman is made of foam padding on a pressure-molded surface in plywood. Separate seat, back and ottoman cushions made from polyester fiber with a foam core. The armchair and ottoman have gliding feet. The frame is made of chromed and polished steel bars. There are a range of fabrics to choose from for the upholstery.

Welded steel structure available in polished chrome/satin chrome or with white/black Rilsan finish. The seat pad is stretched over the seat and fixed in place with hooks. The cushions are fastened with clips and press studs. The version without a Rilsan seat pad is also suitable for outdoor use.

Thanks to its transparency, the old-fashioned light bulb is the center of attention. But don’t be fooled, despite of its retro appearance the lamp is in fact an energy saving LED light. Equipped with a tactile switch, the lamp turns on by a simple touch of its base. Tap again to increase the intensity and brightness of the bulb.

Martin Visser is the designer of the sofa bed BR 02.7. This couch dates back to the late 1950s. In 1988, the detachable armrest BA 02 was added to the sofa. With just a few hand movements, the couch is transformed into a sofa bed for one. The couch and armrest are available in any fabric you like. Because of the tight forms of the design, however, an elastic fabric is most suitable.

The seemingly impossible Slim Table involves the use of an innovative steel sandwich construction with a lightweight honeycomb-structure core. Designer Bertjan Pot: “Some people will feel that the composite structure of the Slim Table undermines its authenticity, but this is actually what makes it authentic. The inherent properties of the different materials have been used as honestly as possible: metal for its strength and wood for its tactile and aesthetic qualities. Without innovation is minimalism quickly becomes a dead end.”
