The art nouveau post office building in Brandschenkestrasse, Zurich, which was built in 1915, is the new location for the Jade Club. In the renovation led by Marc Briefer (Office for Interior Decoration and Design in Zurich), wohnbedarf was responsible for the seating and for installing elements of the lighting. Because of the location’s dual use, the demands on the lighting design were very high. This meant that the customer was all the more satisfied with the successful solution. Thanks to special lens technology, for example, the large seating niches along the window could be pleasantly lit without impairing the unique atmosphere in the restaurant.
